Alien Prequel, A return to Greatness???

So I just stumbled upon a very exciting blurb stating that an Alien prequel was in the works. The best part… Ridley Scott is supposed to be directing it! For those of you with your heads in the dirt, Ridley Scott was the director of the movie that started it all, Alien.
