Modern Warfare 2: Not for Pansies! Leked Video

So with Infinity Ward’s blockbuster first person shooter around the corner and me trying to score an early copy, I came across some leaked footage that has everyone’s panties in a bunch. Activision is on a rampage to purify the internet of this video, so you know it’s juicy. BE WARNED IT CONTAINS A MASSIVE SPOILER!!! well not massive in my opinion but a spoiler none the less. I will get into more detail after the video link.

So everyone is all worked up about this and i’m sure when the mainstream press gets a hold of it all hell will break lose. I on the other hand am quite pleased to see Infinity Ward take it one step further bridging the gap of engrossing storytelling/entertainment.

Any fool with one eye knows that the COD franchise is adult oriented and with game like Grand Theft Auto and movies like ummm any action movie in the past century, what’s the big friggin’ deal… So you

get to play as a terrorist and mow down defenseless civilians in an airport. Now while this may be touchy for a person who has been touched by real similar terrorism, for the rest of us it’s just a GAME!!! and a pretty awesome looking game at that. Also, according to recent reports Activision says that this scene is optional to play (why you would opt out is beyond me).

Midnight November tenth is less than 4 days away. Call in your reserves, warn your significant other and your neighbors and get ready to dig in. There will probably be less new content on SwollenThumbs for the next too weeks, because of this game. Oh how I’ve waited for this moment.
