Demon’s Souls: Two Weeks Later

Post Rating

Thank you sir, may I have another!

Two weeks later and I’m quite amazed that I have yet to shatter my controller into “a pretty little thousand pieces” while dancing on the game disc itself in my girlfriends high-heel boots, calling for the destruction of all who took part in creating it.

More oddly I continue to turn it on at times I know I can’t spend more than an hour gaming… Those times are the best… or worst… depending on how you perceive it.

Many have tried to explain the reason so many of us have, and continue to embark on the suicide mission that is Demon’s Souls. But after what I’ve seen, the enemies I have slain after long and arduous battles and the treasures I have found, I am realizing that you either are Demon’s Souls or your not!

No one can truly convey the attraction and attachment to this game a “Demon’s Souls-er” has, so I won’t be attempting here.

The advice I will give you is:
If upon first hearing of the incredible difficulty and ridiculous requirement for mastery and nothing less to survive, you:

A: grinned at the immediate odd thought of how the Wii is fun, but ultimately suck – You should probably give this game a try

B: Your eye began twitching as you had flashbacks of Super Ghouls N Ghost – go buy this game now along with an extra controller (you will break all of your current ones)

C:You missed the part about about difficulty… yada yada yada… because you were too hung up on how odd the words “Demon’s Souls” together is – you would probably enjoy this game, but never finish it

D: You thought it’s the dumbest idea for game developers to focus their energy on torturing the very people they want money from – your a pansy and you it is a FACT you wouldn’t make it an hour before crying like a baby.
